Finn’s Things:

Thorfinn Rowle’s Wand

Core: Dragon Heartstring (Tarasque)

This core represents strength and flamboyance. A wand with this core is capable of strong spells and hexes. It is capable of changing allegiances, but it bonds greatly with it’s true owner. This core is prone to turning to the Dark Arts due to it’s powerful and temperamental nature although it will not turn to it in it’s own. A dragon heartstring’s rarity depends on the source. The Tarasque is a rare dragon known to reside the mountains of France. It is a strong dragon with a lion’s head, a turtle’s hide and a scorpion’s tail. All of which symbolizes power, resilience and cleverness. Or in Finn’s case, it’s pride, stubbornness and a cunning mind. Also vanity.

Wood: Yew

One of the rare woods when it comes to wand waking, the wand with a yew wood is usually capable of casting very strong spells. Having said that, wands made from this wood are usually feared because of the spells that it can do, especially in dueling.

Length: 9 inches

Thorfinn Rowle is a man of typical height. He is stubborn but quick to learn once he gets his focus.

Flexibility: Inflexible

Finn doesn’t like to be ordered around unless he is willing. He even feels a bit of anger when he follows orders because of fear. He holds firm to his beliefs because he refuses to change for others. People should adapt to him, not the other way around.

Finn’s Things:

The Rowle Manor

The manor of the Rowle family is one of the biggest and grandest castles in England. Known to be somewhere in the County of Buckingham, the manor is actually located somewhere in Cornwall. The huge lawn around it serves as the rift in dimension so that muggles won’t just accidentally run into the castle. It was built in the 15th century although Aleister Rowle, Finn’s great great grandfather, renovated it almost every year until his death in 1889. Since then, the manor was left alone in its nineteenth century architecture. The manor boasts many rooms and secret passages, all of which are still intact. Finn’s room is located in one of the towers, enabling him to claim a tower for himself. The tower is called the Dragon’s Spire since Aleister lovingly calls Finn the Dragon of the Rowles when he had a vision of his birth.

Finn’s things:

Black Beard

Black Beard is Finn’s awesome broomstick. Obviously, it was named as such because of it’s black color. It is one of the family heirlooms of the Rowle clan. It is a bit faster than Firebolt but the greatest thing about it is it’s maneuverability. A Rowle can ride it flawlessly as if it’s a part of its body. Legend has it that the black lacquer used to polish it was mixed with the blood of the first Rowle that’s why it can bond to its rider.
